Van Body/Trailer Repair Mechanic

Minoru Truck Bodies Ltd. - Richmond, BC

Minoru Truck Bodies Ltd., a well-established local truck body manufacturing company, is looking for a van body/trailer repair mechanic for the repair department. You will be required to repair damage to Minoru van bodies as well as other manufacturers. You will also diagnose and repair problems with hydraulic liftgates, and install new hydraulic liftgates. This is an experienced position with the prospect for advancement.

This is a full time position, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Compensation is based on experience. We offer competitive wages and benefits. No phone calls please.

Required:

- Able to understand imperial measurements

- Basic hand, air and power tool experience

- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge

- Experience metal fabrication working with both steel and aluminum

- Steel and aluminum welding experience

- Passion for learning

- Reliable with a desire to succeed

- Willing to learn

- Trailer mechanic: 1 year

Desirable:

- Fork lift certification

- Level 2 first-aid certificate
