Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cambridge, ON, for a Junior Estimator / Project Coordinator. In this role, you will support project execution by preparing detailed estimates and coordinating resources for fabrication projects. The key responsibilities of the position include reviewing project specifications, liaising with clients and suppliers, generating cost estimates, creating timelines, and assisting in the management of project deliverables.
You will also ensure projects are executed on time and within budget while maintaining open communication with stakeholders. Collaboration with other departments and maintaining accurate project documentation will be integral to your role.
Qualifications
Proficiency with estimating and project coordination tools, and familiarity with CAD software
Strong organizational and multitasking skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines
Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in custom fabricating
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and suppliers
Problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and address project challenges
Experience in metal fabrication or construction project management is an asset
A diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is desirable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
