Job Description – Journeyman Technician

North Edmonton Kia is looking for a flat rate Journeyman Technician to join our very busy and growing service department! For the right candidate, we will help pay for moving expense and signing bonus up to $20,000.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair new and used make and off make vehicles

- Knowledge of system components that will allow you to effectively diagnose issues

- Understanding of preventative maintenance that would add value for the customer when recommended

- Thoroughly inspect vehicles for any work that should be recommended to the customer

- Knowledge of use of an array of tools

- Understand and review work orders with the Service Manager

- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools

Qualifications:

- Possess a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate





- Completion of requisite post secondary and training courses

- Solid work ethic and problem solving skills

- Work with a high level of reliability and integrity

- Ability to meet physical demands of the job

- A valid driver’s license

- Experience with Kia is an asset
