We are actively searching for a Site Manager to complement our skills and to take on challenging and exciting projects. The Site Manager must have the ability to effectively manage the construction site and to ensure all safety practices are adhered to. The successful candidate will be very detail oriented and self-motivated. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site supervision for commercial interiors, current ground-up construction, and base building renovations
- Establish effective communication with clients, designers, subtrades & suppliers
- Understand the designer’s intent and figure out the best way to achieve it
- Understand the client’s goals and figure out the best way to achieve them
- Take full responsibility for the job site and overall supervision and coordination of daily activities
- Assist with resolving change requests, design issues and construction puzzles
- Monitor job progress & scheduling
- Manage subcontractors & suppliers
- Oversee and direct B&V; labourers
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures and reporting
- Work closely with the Project Manager & Project Coordinator

Qualifications:





- Superior customer service & understanding of the Art of Hospitality
- Minimum of 10 years of Site Superintendent construction experience
- Knowledge of local Building Code
- Current knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Knowledge of sustainability programs such as LEED would be an asset
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Energetic, positive and can-do attitude required
- Valid driver’s license required
