We are looking for Vac Truck Operators who will be responsible for operating units to perform excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, and utility work.

Summary:
- The Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks and services for Gear Equipment’s clients. If not already, Heavy Equipment Operators will be required to become members of Operating Engineers Local 115O
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate Hydro-Vac or Vacuum trucks
- Maintain accurate reports including job site reports and driver inspection reports
- Provide a secure, reliable,
and professional service to Gear’s clients
- Inspection of vehicle daily prior and after to starting any new jobs, report any concerns to supervisor
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
- Complete tasks associated with excavation, trenching, and shoring
- General clean-up and maintenance of units
- Perform physically demanding tasks
Requirements:
- Must be able to operate manual transmission
- Valid DZ driver’s license
- Clean drivers abstract
- First-aid and H2S alive
- Industrial vacuum truck and excavating experience preferred
- Customer service focused
