Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and part time Barista (Sat-Sun) to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety, and providing outstanding customer service.
NOTE- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical steam and beverage preparation test as part of the interview process.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Continuously learn about current products and techniques to enhance your skills as a Barista.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations in the food industry.
- Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
