General Labourer (1 week assignment )

About our Client

Ever wondered what it takes to build a world-class spectacle from the ground up? We’re looking for enthusiastic crew members to help us set the stage for an iconic, contemporary circus production! Join our team to assist with event setup, assemble high-production staging and equipment, and help build the magic before the arena doors even open.

What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer

Lift, carry and install the following equipment:

- Bleacher and chair structures in metal
- Metal and aluminum tent structures
- Canvas tent pieces
- Floor pieces
- Distro boxes
- Floor panels, ramps, handrails and guardrails
- Fence panels
- Load trucks
- Pull and roll canvas
- Unroll, pull feeder cables
- Cleaning Duties
- The maximum weight carried per person is 50 lbs - any weight over 50 lbs will be carried by multiple people
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor

What You Should Have, as a General Labour

- Minimum of 2 years construction experience
- Able to lift over 50lbs repetitively
- Able to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail.
- Positive verbal communication
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work Sunday - Saturday
- CSA Steel Toed Boots, Hard Hat, and a Safety Vest

In Return, You Will Receive:

- $19.00/ hour
- Paid weekly, on Mondays
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it




- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

- Days & Evenings 7am - 10:00pm
- Weekend work available
