FORACO CANADA Ltd., an international drilling company servicing the Canadian mineral exploration market, is currently accepting resumes for experienced Diamond Drillers and Helpers to work on Helicopter supported fly jobs, requiring strong technical ability, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Wages and Benefits:

- Driller rate of 36.00 to $40.00 per hour plus applicable overtime

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drillers are responsible to safely operate specialized mechanical or electronic equipment, tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

- Operate and maintain diamond drilling equipment safely and efficiently
- Execute drilling programs to meet production and safety targets
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drill rigs and support equipment
- Work effectively in helicopter-supported, remote job sites
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and company policies are followed
- Complete accurate drilling reports and documentation
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to maintain productivity

Helpers are responsible to assist in the secure operation of helicopter-supported equipment,



tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

- Complete a pre-operational checklist for the pump at the start of every shift
- Assist the operator in the lowering and pulling of drill rods
- Prepare core recovered during shift for delivery to the client ensuring that it well-placed, labeled and uncontaminated
- Prepare core tube assemblies between runs
- Assist with moves, set-ups and tear-downs of drill set-ups
- Clean and store equipment, tools, spare-parts and materials in its proper place
- Keep a neat and orderly worksite, free of garbage and tripping hazards

Valid Training Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of diamond drilling experience - helicopter-supported (heli-portable) drilling operations
- Minimum 2 years of diamond drilling helper experience – helicopter-supported (heli-portable) drilling operation
- Valid certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Isolation Theory training, etc. – or as required)
- Surface Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in remote locations under demanding conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Physically fit and capable of handling labor-intensive work

- Pre-Access Medical, Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Criminal Record Check
