Role: Paediatric Physiotherapist

Locations: Burlington, ON

Role Overview:

The WOMB is seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team!

In this role, you will assess and treat infants, children, and adolescents with a range of conditions affecting their physical development and functional abilities. Areas of focus may include gross motor development, torticollis, neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, delayed milestones, musculoskeletal concerns, and other paediatric-specific needs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting children and families throughout their wellness journey and aligns with The WOMB’s mission and values. They bring a warm, family-centered approach to care and thrive in a collaborative environment that serves clients across the lifespan-including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum,



paediatrics, and family wellness.

Responsibilities:

- Providing initial assessments to children and their families in order to diagnose the source of children's movement difficulties
- Creating individualised treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used: functional training, exercise, diet changes etc.
- Helping children understand and learn the treatment process
- Assessing clients and monitoring their progress
- Connecting with children's schools and daycares when necessary
- Coordinating child care with other healthcare professionals when needed.

Qualifications:

- Masters and/or doctorate in Physiotherapy with a specialisation in paediatric physiotherapy
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Manual dexterity and physical endurance
- Strong attention to detail, patience and empathy
