We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technician to join our innovative manufacturing and facilities maintenance team. As a Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Conduct welding and mechanical repairs as needed to ensure machinery operates smoothly and safely.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and general building upkeep.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally while fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or leadership experience within a manufacturing or facilities maintenance setting.
- Robust electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, mechanical repairs, or equipment installation.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and schematic diagrams.
- Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on facilities maintenance or equipment repair.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety protocols.
