Shredder Electric is looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team and work directly alongside a Master Electrician with over 15 years of experience. This is a great opportunity for hands-on learning and mentorship in both residential and commercial electrical systems!

What You’ll Do:

- Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Use hand and power tools to install wiring, conduits, and fixtures.
- Support troubleshooting under the guidance of an experienced electrician.
- Ensure all work follows safety protocols and regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

- Basic knowledge of electricity, circuitry, and power systems.
- Competence with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and from heights.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

- Ability to stand, bend, crawl, lift, climb, and reach.
- Safety gear (boots, coveralls, hardhat, gloves) and a cell phone.
- Clean driver’s abstract and your own vehicle for commuting.
