Job Overview

We’re looking for a dependable, physically capable Warehouse Operations Associate to join our Dartmouth team. This role is hands-on, forklift-focused, and consistent day-to-day. You’ll load and unload trailers, stage freight, assist with deliveries, perform cycle counts, and communicate with customers to schedule drop-offs. After training, you’ll work a steady Monday- Friday (All statutory holidays off) 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule with occasional early starts or later finishes when needed.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload trailers and 5‑ton trucks
- Stage unloaded freight for upcoming deliveries
- Confirm paperwork, pallet counts, and piece counts
- Call customers to schedule delivery dates (daily or as needed)
- Accompany drivers on 2‑person deliveries when required
- Report damaged freight immediately
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Complete physical and electronic cycle counts
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines

What We’re Looking ForMust-haves:





- Valid forklift certification and strong hands-on experience
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs repeatedly with no restrictions
- Comfortable assisting with 2‑person deliveries
- Basic computer skills (checking email, printing labels, simple WMS use)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Willing to start early or stay later when required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience loading/unloading trailers
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience performing cycle counts
- Ability to learn simple WMS or customer systems
- Interest in learning parts of the coordinator role over time
