Job Summary

Canton Express is looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare ingredients before service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor food quality and consistency.
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Work as part of a team during busy service periods.
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience required.
- Experience with Chinese cuisine is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Food Handler Certification is required.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
