Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities

- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently through cash handling and cashiering.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, demonstrating excellent guest services skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while upholding high service standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.




- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices during food handling and preparation.
- Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times to meet health department standards.

Skills

- Experience with POS systems, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, including food preparation and serving roles.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hospitality principles, guest services, and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food service industry who enjoy working in a team-oriented workplace while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
