Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team in meal assembly and basic food handling
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and work surfaces regularly




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dish turnaround during busy service periods
- Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain a high level of hygiene at all times

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including food preparation and cooking support is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a quick-paced setting
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory
