Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner/Superintendent to join our team on a temporary replacement basis. This position is to cover a 3-week leave, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking for short-term employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial facilities. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently to ensure our spaces remain clean, organized, and welcoming.

Work Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (please insert the start time)

Please note: This is a temporary 3-week replacement position and is not a permanent role.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Supervise cleaning staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning routines
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance checks to identify issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards, and coordinate repairs as needed
- Maintain cleaning schedules and logs to ensure consistent sanitation standards across all areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment,



ensuring proper storage and timely replenishment
- Enforce health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for staff and visitors
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during off-hours or scheduled periods

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of maintenance practices related to building systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Solid attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, management, and external vendors
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties for extended periods
- Certification in health and safety standards or facilities management is a plus
