Property Maintenance Team Lead

Location: On the Road
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $23.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience

Are you someone who takes pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces, enjoys leading a team, and isn't afraid of hard work? We're looking for a motivated Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional results, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Property Maintenance Team Lead, you'll oversee daily operations while working alongside your crew to deliver high-quality landscape maintenance services.

Landscape & Property Maintenance

- Perform landscape maintenance including:
- Garden and landscape bed clean-ups
- Weeding and edging
- Shrub and perennial pruning
- Raking and debris removal
- Mulch installation
- Spring and Fall clean-ups
- Ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Winter Operations

During the winter season, you'll assist with:

- Snow plowing
- Sidewalk shoveling
- Snow blowing
- Ice melter application
- Nightly weather and site checks

Leadership & Team Development

- Delegate tasks based on crew members' skills and experience.
- Train and mentor team members while maintaining company standards.
- Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
- Lead by example through professionalism, robust work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and excellent communication.

Equipment & Operations

- Conduct daily inspections of assigned trucks and equipment.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Keep trucks and trailers clean and organized.
- Complete required paperwork, crew time logs, and reports accurately and on time.




- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity.

Customer Service

- Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally.
- Identify opportunities for additional services while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally on client properties and with contractors.

Safety

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Lead by example by promoting a culture where safety always comes first.

Additional Responsibilities

- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

- Previous supervisory experience in landscaping, property maintenance, horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is considered an asset—but we're willing to train the right leader.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and continually develop new skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's licence required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
