Location: Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC — combined work location

Pay: $45–$55/hour, based on skills and experience, plus a $5/hour Northern Allowance when working in Yellowknife

About the Role

We're expanding our pellet boiler system division and need a Master Plumber ready to lead that growth, working across both our Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC operations. This is a chance to build and run your own crew, own the estimating and take-off process end-to-end, and grow into a bigger leadership role as the projects — and the team — expand. The prospect to become a partner in the business is available for the right person looking to build something long-term.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a small team of 2–3 workers on pellet boiler system repair and maintenance projects
- Perform installation, repairs, and maintenance on pellet boiler and related mechanical/heating systems
- Perform material take-offs and prepare accurate project estimates
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan projects and troubleshoot system issues
- Understand and work within relevant codes and permit processes
- Plan project schedules, materials, and labour needs
- Coordinate with clients and suppliers as needed




- Work across project sites in both Yellowknife, NT and Vancouver Island, BC as required

Qualifications

- Certified Master Plumber (or Journeyman Plumber with strong project leadership experience) with proven mechanical/boiler systems knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in project management, take-offs, and estimating
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising small crews
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on remote or varied job sites
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence; willingness to work across both locations
