We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Prince George team. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, solving complex mechanical issues, and working on a wide variety of heavy construction equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes
- Complete repairs in both shop and field environments
- Respond to occasional service calls and emergency breakdowns
- Test and verify repairs to ensure equipment reliability
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
- Maintain a safe, organized,



and professional work environment
- Support apprentices and share technical knowledge
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Off-Road)
- Minimum 7 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic abilities
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics
- Ability to work independently and within a team workplace
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Computer proficiency for digital work orders and service reporting
- Willingness to work overtime when required

Working Conditions

- Combination of shop and field work

- Exposure to heavy equipment service environments
- Overtime and after-hours work may occasionally be required
- Use of required PPE including safety footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, and other site-specific safety equipment
