Industrial Millwright (433A) – Maintenance

Location: Burlington, ON

Compensation:
Earn approximately $45.30/hour in your first year (including guaranteed production bonus)

- Base rate increases after a successful first-year review
- Transition to weekly plant production bonus following year one
- Additional earnings through overtime and Nucor profit sharing
- Opportunity for increased total earnings based on plant performance

Schedule:
Rotating 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)
Days: 6:30am – 2:30pm
Afternoons: 2:30pm – 10:30pm (+$0.60/hour premium)
Nights: 10:30pm – 6:30am (+$1.00/hour premium)

Overtime:
Available based on production needs
Saturday paid at time and a half
Sunday paid at double time

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Perform preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Align, dismantle, and move industrial equipment
- Diagnose mechanical failures and complete repairs
- Collaborate with electricians and production teams to reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS




- Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433A Certificate of Qualification
- 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience (steel or heavy manufacturing preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available for rotating shifts and overtime

Working Conditions

- Heavy industrial plant environment (hot, cold, dusty, and noisy)
- Physically demanding role including standing, lifting, bending, and working at heights
