What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals and special diet items.
- Ensure food safety, quality, and presentation standards are met.
- Support and guide kitchen team members during daily operations.
- Maintain inventory and assist with receiving supplies.
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized.
- Contribute to resident satisfaction through exceptional food service.
What You Bring
- A recognized cooking credential, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification and experience preparing high-quality meals in healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or institutional food service.
- Knowledge of food safety, therapeutic diets, and kitchen operations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to quality, inclusion, and providing exceptional service to residents.
- Note:
The successful applicant will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, TB screening, and comply with vaccination and public health requirements
