Bird Stairs is looking for motivated, experienced sales representatives, responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to clients and customers. We require an energetic, positive, customer-oriented individual, who communicates well with others and enjoys working with people.
As an Outside Salesperson, you would be responsible for developing and maintaining an outstanding working relationship with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and expand our market share.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Promoting our commercial and residential electrical products
- Working closely with industry suppliers
- Prospecting and qualifying commercial and residential opportunities for electrical products
- Reviewing and evaluating account activity reports for management
- Fostering and developing trusting and value-add partnerships with both existing and new customers
- Network for referrals through your personal network, professional groups, community groups
- Proactively source referrals from existing customers as well as government infrastructure contract sites
- Follow-up and follow-through with customer leads and inquiries
- Display or demonstrate merchandise to increase customer awareness and/or product knowledge
- Quote pricing and provided contracted pricing as necessary
