Accounting Manager

Kluane Drilling is a fast-growing international drilling company serving mining and mineral exploration clients across Canada and overseas. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to lead the finance function of our Canadian drilling operations.

This is a key leadership role offering significant autonomy and impact. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting activities, ensure financial integrity, and deliver timely, accurate reporting and analysis to both local and corporate management teams. You will play an active role in supporting operational performance and strategic decision-making.

Located in Whitehorse, Yukon

Permanent employment - Full time

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the full accounting cycle for Canadian operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Deliver accurate management reporting and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance and continuous improvement
- Coordinate year-end processes and external audits

Qualifications & Experience

- Recognized accounting designation (CPA or equivalent preferred)
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience,



ideally in an industry setting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability
- Experience in a multi-entity or international business environment is an asset
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to add value beyond reporting
