Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service during overnight hours while completing the hotel’s daily accounting and reporting procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable working independently, and able to remain calm when handling guest concerns or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest questions
- Process reservations, payments, deposits, and room charges
- Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
- Balance daily transactions and complete the night audit
- Review room rates, postings, payments, and account balances for accuracy
- Prepare daily reports for hotel management
- Monitor the property and report any safety or security concerns
- Communicate significant information to the morning front desk team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area




- Assist with light cleaning, breakfast preparation, or other overnight duties when required
- Follow hotel policies, emergency procedures, and privacy requirements

What We’re Looking For

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working overnight shifts
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail and basic accounting skills
- Comfortable using computers, email, reservation systems, and payment terminals
- Able to handle confidential guest and financial information
- Calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
- Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or cash-handling experience is preferred

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
