Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations




- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of products served
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Go over cleaning tasks end of the day

Requirements

- Robust time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and beverage offerings

Please note this job is mainly for evening to closing shifts. Weekend availability is mandatory

Pay: $18.25 per hour
