We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dozer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Operate dozers with precision to perform grading, leveling, and earthmoving tasks according to project specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Assist with the operation of auxiliary machinery such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, graders, and pavers as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Support site preparation activities including site clearing, trenching, and backfilling
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage,
maintenance needs, and work progress
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience operating dozers in construction or similar heavy equipment environments
- Solid mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment models
- Ability to operate related machinery such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, graders, and pavers effectively
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in heavy equipment transportation preferred
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and construction site safety procedures
- Prior experience in construction projects involving paving or roadwork is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
