Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within our daycare facility. Responsibilities

- Perform daily cleaning tasks across all daycare areas, including classrooms, play zones, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Disinfect surfaces, toys, furniture, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors to ensure a spotless environment
- Restock cleaning supplies and hygiene products as needed to support ongoing cleanliness efforts
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility for maintenance issues such as leaks or damages and report them promptly for resolution
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure workplace for children and staff




- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably within a commercial or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including disinfecting methods suitable for daycare environments
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks or identify when repairs are needed
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and safety
- Good communication skills to coordinate with staff regarding cleaning schedules or special requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established procedures
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
