Overview
Our busy Woodshop is seeking a dedicated and hardworking person to join our team as a Production Worker. This role is essential in supporting various projects and tasks within our operation. Workers will work in a dynamic environment, performing a range of physical work that contribute to the overall success of our projects. Ideal candidates should be reliable, physically fit, and able to work collaboratively with others.

Duties

- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, standing, twisting, bending and moving materials and product.
- Use of commercial saws, and building products from lumber.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools and saws safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by performing routine checks and reporting any issues.




- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the woodshop and yard.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in manual labor or production work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and the ability to work within a diverse community.
- Willingness to learn recent skills and take on various responsibilities as needed.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a woodshop environment is a plus.
- First Aid and Forklift Certifications an asset.
- Criminal Record Check
