Journeyperson Service Millwright

Our client is a leading provider of welding automation solutions, known for their commitment to innovation, quality craftsmanship, and collaboration. With a strong reputation for excellence, they specialize in designing, maintaining, and servicing automated welding equipment for clients across various industries.

Our client is looking for a Journeyperson Service Millwright to join their team. As a key member of their team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their rental fleet and customer-owned equipment operate at peak performance. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, both in the shop and on-site at client locations.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, document, test, and repair rental fleet and customer-owned equipment upon arrival.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide repair estimates, and complete service orders with accuracy.
- Clean, refurbish, and maintain equipment using welding, grinding, cutting, painting, buffing, and rust removal techniques.
- Prepare equipment for transport or outdoor storage, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Perform quality assurance inspections and identify parts using technical drawings, manuals, and digital tools.
- Act as a professional point of contact for customers,



managers, and team members.
- Train recent staff and support other departments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions or stand for extended periods as required.
- Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyperson Millwright certification or equivalent trade qualification.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and technology.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and digital documentation accurately.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for long hours.
- Experience training or mentoring colleagues is an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
