Duties

- Support licensed opticians by preparing eyewear orders, adjusting frames, and assisting with fittings to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Learn and apply basic medical terminology related to eye health, vision correction, and optical procedures.
- Manage retail sales by engaging with customers, explaining product features, and promoting eyewear options that meet their needs.
- Maintain an organized laboratory workspace by cleaning lenses, assembling frames,



and handling optical equipment with care.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels of lenses, frames, and accessories to ensure availability.

Skills

- Strong understanding of basic medical terminology related to vision care and eye health.
- Laboratory experience or familiarity with optical equipment is highly desirable.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience to effectively engage with diverse clients.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining products and procedures clearly.
- Interest in pursuing a career in optical retail management or healthcare fields.
