Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts, and providing management with transparent visibility into sales activity, vendor payments, and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple eCommerce platforms, and communicates effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Reconciliation Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements daily to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

Vendor Verification Review and verify vendor information to ensure accuracy before processing payments or entering transactions.

Sales Platform Management Manage sales activity across multiple ticketing platforms including Ticketmaster, StubHub, Vivid Seats, and Gametime — ensuring all transactions are captured accurately and payments to vendors are entered from all revenue sources in a timely manner.

Partner Statement Collection Collect monthly or periodic statements from partner ticketing platforms to support accurate financial reporting.

AR Reconciliation Reconcile payments received from partners and maintain a clean, accurate Accounts Receivable ledger.





Multi Platform Coordination Work across various eCommerce ticketing environments to ensure consistent and accurate updates across all systems.

Management Reporting Provide regular updates to management on order processing status, payments received, outstanding AR, and overall financial progress.

Monthly HST Reporting Prepare and submit monthly HST reports, ensuring accurate calculation of collected and paid HST, reconciling tax amounts with sales platforms and accounting records, and maintaining full compliance with CRA requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data sources simultaneously
- Proficiency in accounting software , QuickBooks Desktop experience required
- Ability to communicate clearly with management and external partners
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent workflow

Nice to Have

- Experience in the ticketing or entertainment industry
- Familiarity with platforms such as Ticketmaster, StubHub, Vivid Seats, or Gametime
- Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations including HST and CRA reporting requirements

Pay: $55,000.41-$60,000.83 per year
