Staff Plus is hiring a Sanitation Crew Member for our client in the food manufacturing industry. The Sanitation Crew is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, food contact surfaces, and processing areas to ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained. This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced, wet, and humid manufacturing workplace while following all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Shift: Steady Night Shift (Candidates must be available to work Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, as the schedule may vary based on operational requirements)

Job Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize production equipment, food contact surfaces, and production areas following sanitation procedures
- Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning and sanitation
- Operate sanitation equipment, including pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and CIP systems
- Safely handle sanitation chemicals and follow WHMIS, GMP, and food safety requirements
- Complete sanitation logs, inspect equipment,



and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting production needs

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial or food manufacturing sanitation role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet, humid, and physically demanding environment
- Comfortable handling sanitation chemicals and wearing required PPE
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, twist, kneel, and disassemble/reassemble equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push or pull equipment as required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
