Join our dynamic construction team as a Telehandler Operator and play a vital role in moving materials efficiently and safely across our job sites. In this energetic position, you'll operate a versatile telehandler (also known as a telescopic forklift) to lift, move, and position heavy loads with precision. Your mechanical aptitude and heavy equipment expertise will contribute directly to the smooth progress of our projects, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality at every stage. Responsibilities

- Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to lift, transport, and place materials at various heights and locations on site
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to understand material handling needs and prioritize tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before each shift, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using compatible attachments such as forks or lifting hooks
- Support other heavy machinery operations including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, crane, or farm machinery as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities




- Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment

Requirements

- Proven experience operating telehandlers in construction or similar heavy equipment roles
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance checks
- Familiarity with other construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for heavy equipment operation where applicable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for long shifts
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and construction sites
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is a plus but not mandatory
