Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, assembling, and maintaining metal components and structures using various fabrication techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, mechanical systems, and quality standards to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet specifications. The position offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment that values precision, safety, and efficiency.
Duties
- Operate CNC lathes, CNC machines, and other machining equipment to produce precise components
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy and quality of fabricated parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for assembly and fabrication tasks
- Perform assembly of metal parts and structures according to specifications
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to assist in automated manufacturing processes
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to identify defects or deviations from standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations including material handling using forklifts when necessary
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing, machining, or fabrication environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to metalworking and assembly processes
- Familiarity with CNC lathe operations, CNC programming, and machining techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality inspection procedures
- Warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
