Hutchinson Towing & Heavy Haul is looking for an experienced DZ Driver to join our team. This is not your typical towing job. Our drivers perform a combination of emergency towing, recovery, heavy equipment transport, machinery moves, and specialized hauling, giving you a wide variety of work every day.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence
- Valid Ontario Tow Driver Certificate (Towing Licence) – Required. Ontario tow truck drivers must hold a Tow Driver Certificate under provincial regulations.
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating tow trucks and securing vehicles/equipment
- Knowledge of load securement and safe operating procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation
- Professional attitude with the ability to work independently

Job Duties

- Emergency roadside towing and recovery
- Accident recovery and winching operations
- Transport heavy equipment, construction machinery, sea cans,



forklifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, and other specialized loads
- Load, unload, and properly secure equipment for transport
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Represent Hutchinson Towing & Heavy Haul professionally with every customer
