The role of the Underground Mechanic is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. The mechanic is expected to work as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and find a solution in a safe, efficient manner. They must exhibit robust attention to detail and comprehension of written and verbal instructions distributed by the Lead Mechanic.
Drive-in Mine Site
14/14 rotation or 7 /7 rotation rotating between days and nights.
Client approved Site access.
Drug and Alcohol Test.
Criminal Record Check for certain sites
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Mechanic License or equivalent
- Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core an asset
- Previous underground mechanic experience an asset
- Knowledge of underground equipment an asset
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems as required
- Ability to work well with others

Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
