Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to support our kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our restaurant, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are always clean and ready for use. It's a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and wants to gain experience in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand and using commercial dishwashing machines
- Sort, stack, and store clean items in their proper places
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter throughout the shift
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and break down boxes as needed
- Sweep and mop the kitchen and dish area floors to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Assist cooks with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
- Help receive deliveries and properly store ingredients and supplies




- Clean kitchen surfaces, sinks, walls, and equipment according to sanitation standards
- Take out trash, clean garbage areas, and maintain outdoor cleanliness as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times wherever needed

Requirements

- No prior experience required — training will be provided
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, hot, and sometimes loud environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Good attention to detail and basic time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
