We are looking for energetic, detail-orientated and hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team at EVL Nursery.

EVL Nursery is a wholesale growing facility that grows perennials, shrubs, grasses, ground covers and much more! We are looking for candidates that are able to work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Opportunities to advance within the company if we see fit.

Duties

- Assist with picking plants for orders, cleaning, and labeling plants.
- Planting crops following planting protocols.
- Assisting with seasonal programs and decorating plants.
- Move plants between locations as required.
- Assist with label printing, inventory and organization.
- Various duties required in a farm/greenhouse setting.
- Being diligent while working and staying focused on the task at hand.
- Must be able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail is important to ensure that the quality of life of the plants are maintained.
- Must be able to speak English fluently.
- Speaking Spanish is an asset
- If is required the person should be willing to assist in potting, pruning, watering and harvesting of cuttings.




- Must be physically fit to lift and move plants along with carts holding plants.
- Handle heavy lifting of plants, and other materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Perform basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory management
- Enthusiasm for gardening with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in a fast-paced environment

Salary is dependent on experience

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
