We are looking for a full-time Construction Site Assistant to support our residential and infill construction projects in Calgary. This role focuses on maintaining safe, clean, and well-organized job sites and assisting the project team with basic site operations.
This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn more about home building and infill construction. English communication is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Assist with basic site maintenance (sweeping, garbage removal, snow clearing, material moving)
- Support the site supervisor with simple site tasks
- Help with material pick-up and delivery between sites
- Ensure safety signage, fencing, and walkways are properly maintained
- Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Able to communicate in English
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Construction experience is an asset but not required
Pay & Perks
- Hourly wage: $20+ depending on experience
