About the Role

As Cafe Manager, you set the pace and the standard for the whole bar. You lead the team through every rush, keep the numbers healthy, and make sure every guest leaves as a regular in the making. You know your coffee as well as your P&L;, and you build a team that takes pride in the craft.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and cash handling

- Recruit, train, and coach baristas and support staff to BYND standards

- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to keep the bar running smoothly

- Monitor sales performance and labor costs, and report on key metrics

- Maintain compliance with food safety, health, and licensing regulations

- Resolve guest concerns with the same care and attention that defines every BYND interaction

- Uphold BYND's commitment to craft, precision, and artistry across the team





What We're Looking For

- Previous experience managing a cafe, coffee bar, or restaurant

- Robust leadership and team-building skills

- Solid understanding of coffee origins, brewing methods, and espresso technique

- Comfort with scheduling, inventory, and basic financial reporting

- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven setting

- Someone who understands that every guest deserves the full experience
