Position Overview

As an Automotive Service Technician at V.I.P. Lube, you will perform a variety of preventative maintenance services, tire services, and minor automotive repairs. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and dedicated to providing high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform oil changes, fluid inspections, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance services.
- Inspect, repair, rotate, balance, and install passenger and light truck tires.
- Perform wheel torque procedures and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Clearly explain vehicle conditions and recommended services to customers in a qualified manner.
- Provide outstanding customer service while building trust and long-term relationships.
- Safely operate automotive equipment, tools, and shop machinery.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Assist with inventory management, shop organization, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.




- Stay current with automotive technology, service procedures, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive education or certification is considered an asset).
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance, tire service, or mechanical repair is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday.
