Key ResponsibilitiesJourneyperson Electrician
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical equipment
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution and control systems
- Install and service electrical systems, communications, and data cabling
- Test and verify electrical circuits and equipment to ensure safe operation
- Install, maintain, and repair fibre optic systems
Electrical Foreman
- Lead, mentor, and supervise electrical crews on site
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, manpower,
and daily activities
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Ensure quality workmanship and project productivity targets are achieved
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and project specifications
- Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions
What You'll Bring
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification/licence
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (Foreman candidates)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Willingness to contribute to a positive team culture
Work Environment
This position involves working on active commercial and light industrial construction sites in a rapid-paced, project-driven environment. Successful candidates should be comfortable with:
- Physically demanding work
- Lifting, carrying, and handling materials and equipment
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Meeting project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
