Home Support Worker – Level Two
Position Summary:
The Home Support Worker – Level Two – assists community members to live independently and safely in their own homes and community for as long as possible while enjoying the highest quality of life possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provides personal care services under the supervision of the Home Care Nurse and in consultation (where applicable) with other specialists
- Provides housekeeping and home management services in accordance with the client’s care plan
- Provides short-term respite services to allow family caregivers some personal time
- Assists clients and health providers in making and keeping appointments with various health services
Experience:
- One year experience in related Health Care field
- Certificate in Home Support/ Residential Care or Personal Care from an approved community college, and current CPR certificate
- Valid drivers licence, Criminal Record Check
Salary: $25.94-$30.22, 35 hours per week
