Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an experienced Manual Dump Truck Driver. The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-focused driver with experience operating manual transmission dump trucks on construction sites and public roadways. This role involves hauling aggregates, soil, debris, and construction materials while supporting daily site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate manual transmission dump trucks safely and efficiently on job sites and public roads
- Transport aggregates, soil, demolition debris, and construction materials to and from job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including brakes, lights, tires, fluids, and safety equipment
- Safely load, haul, and dump materials in accordance with site requirements and traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
- Communicate with site supervisors to coordinate deliveries
- Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or job-site hazards promptly
- Follow all company safety policies,



Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) regulations, and site-specific rules
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work environment

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario DZ or AZ Driver’s Licence (required)
- Air Brake Endorsement (Z) required
- Must have previous experience driving a manual dump truck
- Proven experience operating manual transmission dump trucks
- Clean driving abstract and strong safety record
- Experience working on construction sites and in heavy-equipment environments
- Physically capable of completing vehicle inspections and job-site duties
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Assets:

- Previous experience in excavation, demolition, or construction haulage
- Knowledge of GTA roadways and job-site logistics
- Safety certifications such as WHMIS, Working at Heights, or First Aid

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
