The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and in valuable condition. This role involves a mix of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to service requests from management or tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues and safety hazards
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Perform minor repairs such as minor plumbing, fixture replacement, and general repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of mechanical rooms and exterior grounds
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance,
construction, or building operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repairs
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various conditions
