Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, orthodontics, and restorative treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies and equipment, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for digital impressions.
Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and understanding.
Operate dental software such as Epic and Dentrix to schedule appointments, document patient records, and process billing efficiently.
Support orthodontic treatments by taking impressions, adjusting braces, and providing patient education on at-home care routines.




Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and assist with radiography or other imaging as needed.
Coordinate with the dental reception team to ensure smooth scheduling and patient communication, especially for pediatric cases requiring specialized care.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting or a related healthcare role is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry enhances your ability to support diverse patient needs.
Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry ensures precise communication within the team.
Experience working with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is a plus but not mandatory.
Solid organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $20.71-$34.68 per hour
