Position Title: Concessions Stand Cashier

Join our dynamic team as a Concession Stand Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face and productive operator behind our concession counter. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while managing food and beverage sales during events at the CAA Centre. You'll be responsible for processing transactions accurately, preparing simple food items, and ensuring a clean, welcoming space for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests.
- Accurately process food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, debit, credit, gift cards, and other forms of payment in accordance with the CAA Centre's cash handling procedures.
- Balance and reconcile assigned cash float at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Serve concession food and beverages.




- Follow all health and safety policies, safe food handling practices, and workplace procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning concession locations before and after events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service, retail, or cash handling experience is an asset.
- Previous food service or concessions experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification is required if assigned to locations serving alcohol.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
