A leading national law firm is seeking a Manager, Legal Service Delivery to support the delivery of high-quality legal support services within its Vancouver office. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing workflow, team performance, capacity management, process improvement, technology adoption, and professional development across the firm's Paraprofessional Services and Legal Support Services teams.

This is a 15-month full-time contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee workflow, capacity, and staffing to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Manage regional workflow, utilization, and lawyer-to-support staff allocations.
- Monitor workload trends, optimize resourcing, and coordinate file transitions.
- Support workforce planning, including hiring, onboarding, and role design.
- Assist with candidate assessment and early talent development initiatives.
- Champion the adoption of legal technology, tools, and AI solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service.
- Support performance management through coaching, training, career development, and performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture and support engagement initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert within a designated practice area.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Law Clerk, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant studies.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a legal service delivery role.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Excellent understanding of legal service delivery functions,



with technical expertise in at least one practice area.
- Advanced knowledge of legal matter lifecycle processes and supporting systems.
- Legal Project Management (LPM) and/or Certified Human Resources Professional designation is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required for the Montréal office only.
