Server Job Description

Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure order accuracy.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
- Refill beverages, explicit used dishes, and maintain clean dining tables.
- Explain menu items, promotions, and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies.
- Work closely with hosts, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.





Requirements

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
- Previous serving experience is an asset but not required.
- Smart Serve Certification (Ontario) is an asset.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
