Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff to prepare meals efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards at all times.
Handle food items safely by practicing proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers or dining areas, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Participate in kitchen sanitation routines, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
Basic knowledge of serving, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and customer service.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.
Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
